Why Two Eights?

Like many other designers, I grew up believing that success came from suffering. Working late nights, early mornings, unrealistic deadlines, and no work life balance. I put stress on my personal relationships as well as my professional relationships to get the job done. Through a lot of soul searching and letting go of perfectionism, I realized that we wanted to lead more balanced life. And through this journey, I learned living a more balanced life allowed me to show up more creatively for my clients, without compromising on deadlines or budgets.

The number 8 symbolizes balance, new beginnings, and abundance. Two Eights is my way of bringing back harmony to the design world.

Who We Are

Two Eights Design Group

When I started Two Eights Design, I was looking for an answer to the problems I saw in traditional design firms. I wanted to create something different. Starting on my own, I began collaborating with other independent-ish designers, architects, and creatives. I realized I didn’t need a firm of 30 to succeed; I could partner with other like-minds that were right for the individual project, and bring a unique perspective to my clients without the pressure of having a traditional brick and mortar firm. It just worked. Two Eights became more than just me, it became a different way to look at Design.

Two Eights is not your typical Interior Design and Branding company. We are individuals that make up a group; not a ‘look,’ not a ‘firm.’ A collaborative, a commune of designers. We stand for

authenticity; we stand for equality; we stand for humanity. We promote experiential living, and self-expression. We believe that designers that are living their authentic lives show up to create magic.

We are collectors of artifacts. We find inspiration through art and experiences. We believe our

individual ways of life and our journeys lead us to see the world through a different lens. We are

storytellers through expression in the built environment. Our experiences allow us to bring visions to their fullest potential. We believe that design is one of the truest expressions of self and storytelling. Let us tap in to your story that you are seeking to share.

At Two Eights Design, we believe that great design should be available to everyone. We offer a wide range of services for both Residential and Commercial projects. We do not have the overhead of a brick-and-mortar design firm. A lot of overhead is usually built

into your design proposals by larger firms. We price your project based on your project - nothing

more, nothing less.

Transparency

Who is working on your project? Although your proposal will be from Two Eights, we do partner with other independent designers, procurement agents, and creatives on select projects. We personally vet and guarantee that these partners are the best fit for your project. All project team members will be included in your proposal from Two Eights so you know exactly who will be involved in your project.

Experience

We have the experience from working for not only top design firms, but also developers, owners, and operators. We look at projects not only from an aesthetic perspective, but an ROI, functional, and longevity perspective.
